Pathway 3 curriculum map has been made up with exciting and engaging themes that have been chosen based on pupils interests and their suggestions. Classes follow a rolling programme of cycles across a 4 year period and this ensures pupils cover all of the WFS progression steps multiple times within a 4 year period. Topics within subject areas are chosen to match a theme and over the course of a term teachers choose which topics they feel, from the selection, work with each theme best for their class. Typically themes run for a half term period but this is flexible and may run for longer if pupils are engaged and highly motivated by particular themes.
